Marie Madarasz, AIF

Marie Madarasz, AIF® is a Wealth Manager and Financial Planner at Quest Capital & Risk Management, Inc. and has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. She enjoys being part of a team that has a positive impact on clients' financial lives by helping them develop and maintain investment and income strategies that help them pursue the life they’ve worked hard for in retirement.

As an active member of the financial planning community and a lifelong learner, Marie has received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from Fi360 and is currently completing the coursework necessary to sit for the exam for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the College of Financial Planning. As an AIF® designee, she has been certified specifically for her ability to follow a fiduciary process with her clients’ best interests at heart.   Marie is also a proud member of  Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor GroupSM .  Earning these designations show that she is committed to following and adhering to a code of ethics, continuing education, and always putting her clients’ best interests first.

As a strong advocate of financial life planning and education, Marie has completed specialized courses including the Money Quotient "Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning" as well as The Kinder Institute of Life Planning’s “The Seven Stages of Money Maturity® Workshop.” Both programs detail how to become an effective communicator with clients so they can truly reflect on what’s important in their lives.

Prior to joining Quest, Marie ran the  Secondary Marketing Department at Bankers Federal Savings Bank, where she sold mortgages and mortgage-backed securities into the secondary market. This experience provided her with deep insight into risk management and market dynamics that she carries into her work with clients every day.

Marie was inspired to pursue a career of financial planning because she understands that money has a tether on every part of life, and when clients gain clarity around how they will replace the paycheck in retirement, it enables them to focus on the unique goals that are truly important to them--allowing them to plan for their best lives. She is focused on empowering others with this message.

She is a proud mom of three boys, two of whom play lacrosse and one who is a drummer. In her free time, you can find her hiking local trails, traveling, expressing her creative side through art, and spending quality time with family and friends.
